Nalu Yoga offers a portal into aligning with nature through the practice of yoga. Nalu means a wave in Hawaiian. Nalu Yoga is inspired by the intelligence, empathy and community skills of the original wave riders: dolphins and whales. It is also inspired by the Nalu meditation of the Hawaiian Huna that teaches gentle, effortless focus of attention – you simply pause and listen – while expecting something good to happen.
Ke nalu nei ka moana, the ocean is full of waves.

Nalu Yoga invites you to dive into an ocean of possibilities and amplify your wave. Just as a surfer is one with the wave, alert and fully open to it, in perfect balance of steady effort and fluidity, through the practice of yoga we learn to honour and celebrate the ocean of divine consciousness that we originated from – in an individual wave of expression.
As we lean back into its embrace and experience the interconnectedness of all its waves, we open to something greater than ourselves. We acknowledge the forces of the universe working around us and through us, knowing we are never alone.

A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labours of other men, living and dead, and that I must give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving.“ Albert Einstein
